While in Sonoma County we picked up a great Conserve Asian Pear, Blackberry and Lavender
I thought that it would add a great fresh flavor to the cake. Iced with a vanilla bean whipped cream frosting , topped with fresh blackberries served with a scoop of poached pear sorbet.
This was a summer hit!
